Role: SQL Server Developer + Performance Specialist (DBA will not work) Location: Remote Duration: 5-6 Months C2H W2 only Look at the notes below carefully. We want a senior database engineer that is focused on performance tuning. TSQL, SQL Server, etc. Someone who is good in SQL server development and T-SQL Developer Performance Data Engineer Senior Data Engineer that can focus on performance Need someone that is a blend between proactive performance tuning and data engineering Team is very proactive - when new code is released need to look at it upfront and fix the expected issues Want someone with that eagle eye and mindset to find issues before they arise Will ID failures, refactor code, analyze the code structures, etc Portion of role is on-call (1 out of 5 weeks; monitor 7am-11pm - 5pm-11pm have pager if need pops up) - only when go perm Must Have: DB performance tuning experience Ability to breakdown execution plans and ID areas of improvement SQL Server & T-SQL Nice to Have: SolarWinds DPA specifically Healthcare or 340B experience Apply tot his job
