Job Description: Underdirection of the department Supervisor, the New Business Case Manager Associate is responsible for their performance in the following core areas: Foundational Processing and Service Quality Review, evaluate and process all levels of case work including complex and escalated issues according to department procedures independently with strong focus on the customer experience. Independently evaluates and analyzes client requests and provides recommendations and solutions. Escalates for review. Meet or exceed productivity and quality metrics per department guidelines. Active problem resolution with minimal direction. Case outreach and follow up activity are proactive, timely and professional. Identify technical issues and log appropriately. Provides suggestions for process improvements that enhance customer experience. Recognized as a team resource who independently and proactively identifies workflow needs; informal mentor to peers and team members. Acts as a strong business partner due to established effective business relationships with underwriting, distribution and marketing partners. Participates as a subject matter expert in projects and initiatives as assigned. Creates and proactively and effectively communicates through written and verbal correspondence for producers, field offices and external interested parties as applicable. Sets proper expectations with producers/offices/FVPs. Supports department needs as assigned. Department Collaboration Maintains positive and professional interactions with peers, trainers, internal customers, and leaders across all activities; Effectively collaborates to overcome challenges. Acts and is recognized as resource in team and across the department. Leaders are kept informed on activities, decisions, and status of project work and other work. Informal peer mentorship Self-Development Understands the Workday Performance Mgmt. process; Demonstrates a growth mindset and proactively partners with Supervisor to identify key skill development opportunities; Able to develop well-written SMART goal(s) and self-assessments; Takes ownership for personal development, coming prepared to 1:1s with progress status; Follows through on action plans. Meets target check-in and self-evaluation dates. Utilizes appropriate resources to identify long-term career path objectives; If path reflects ability and desire to advance to S4 role within job family, seeks out developmental assignments that focus on building and demonstrating skills essential to the non-processing functions of the role. If alternative career paths are desired, works with leaders to seek out aligned developmental assignments. Base Pay Range: The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
