The Sustainability Advisor will leverage expertise to assist clients in navigating sustainability risks, disclosures, and strategies while delivering high-impact advisory services across various sustainability topics. Responsibilities Collaboration within a sector-focused team to address key sustainability issues across industries Delivery of advisory services across our core offerings: Benchmarking Intelligence: Help clients assess their sustainability performance using investor-facing data, peer comparisons, and disclosure analysis Materiality Assessments: Conduct stakeholder-informed, data-driven assessments aligned with CSRD, IFRS, and other global standards Climate Solutions: Support climate risk assessments, carbon accounting, and governance strategies using software and advisory tools Sustainability Reporting: Guide clients through the reporting lifecycle, from double materiality to audit-ready CSRD disclosures using AI-powered platforms Managing a diverse client portfolio with proactive engagement and responsive support Building trusted relationships with senior executives, providing tailored advice aligned with their strategic goals Monitoring evolving sustainability regulations, frameworks, and investor expectations to inform client strategy Creating and present client deliverables, including benchmarking reports, materiality findings, and board-ready presentations Contributing to thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and industry events Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Sustainability, or a related field 1–3 years of experience in sustainability reporting, strategy, consulting, or client-facing roles Strong understanding of how businesses operate, including strategy development, organizational dynamics, and stakeholder communication Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and standards (e.g., ESRS, ISSB/IFRS SDS, GRI, CDP, TCFD, TNFD) Insight into climate-related business risks and mitigation strategies, including physical and transition risks Proficiency in Excel and comfort with quantitative analysis; familiarity with SQL or similar tools is beneficial Ability to connect sustainability topics to broader business priorities such as risk management, financial performance, and regulatory compliance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to learning Attention to detail and commitment to quality Collaborative mindset with the ability to build rapport across teams and with clients Professional presence and confidence in executive-level discussions Experience with sustainability data platforms, reporting software, or ESG ratings is a plus Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage 401(k) with a company match up to 9%, including a Safe Harbor contribution Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and commuter benefit programs Generous paid time off Volunteer Day Paid parental leave Hybrid working options Company Overview ISS-Corporate is a leading provider of robust SaaS and expert advisory services to companies, globally.
