Systems Engineer - Remote EST
Senior Systems Engineer Join our dynamic technology team as a Senior Systems Engineer! In this role, you'll leverage your cloud automation, infrastructure, and systems engineering expertise to drive scalable solutions across AWS and Microsoft environments. You'll collaborate across teams to enhance reliability, security, and efficiency through automation and continuous integration. Location: Remote Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $60-70/hr, depending on experience No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role What You'll Do: - Enhance Cloud engineering practice by automating manual business and IT processes in Amazon Web Services (AWS) using Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, CodePipeline, SSM Automation Documents, and Config Rules. - Build CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of both large- and small-scale systems. - Write unit and integration tests to validate infrastructure code and improve overall code quality. - Identify engineering defects in existing code bases and implement improvements. - Support operational and stakeholder teams to maintain business continuity and customer satisfaction. - Maintain configuration and support documentation. What Gets You the Job: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. - 5-7 years of experience in Systems Engineering or related roles. - Broad knowledge of IT Systems Engineering. - Strong coding skills in Python, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Java, and the .NET Framework. - Deep understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies. - Proven ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services (especially AWS).
