Therapeutic Training and Support Intern

Justice Resource Institute is a nonprofit organization focused on social justice and supporting families with behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. They are seeking a Therapeutic Training and Support Intern to learn clinical interventions, strengthen documentation skills, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting youth and families. Responsibilities Learn how to use new clinical interventions to support youth and families Explore your clinical knowledge through use of evidence based and culturally competent modalities Strengthen your documentation skills and use of electronic medical records Be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team supporting youth and families Skills Minimum working towards a Bachelor's degree (final year) or Master's degree (first year) in mental health, social work, psychology or human service field Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents is required and familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred Good written and oral communication skills are necessary Background and driving record checks will be performed Familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment Education Requirements Minimum working towards a Bachelor's degree (final year) or Master's degree (first year) in mental health, social work, psychology or human service field.
