Join a dynamic healthcare team providing specialized care in telemetry nursing in Knoxville, TN. This contract role focuses on delivering comprehensive patient support in a fast-paced telemetry unit. Candidates must demonstrate strong skills in telemetry nursing, with a proficiency in EKG interpretation and patient monitoring. Qualifications & Desired Experience: • Registered Nurse (RN) with telemetry experience • Must pass EKG testing prior to start date • American Heart Association BLS certification required • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required • ACLS certification preferred • Experience with Cerner EMR and Omnicell medication system • Ability to work in team nursing models with ratios possibly exceeding 7 patients per nurse • Flexibility to float between units as needed Location: Position is based in Knoxville, Tennessee, a vibrant city known for its rich history, beautiful outdoor spaces, and strong healthcare community.
