Virtual Physician (1099 Contractor), Synchronous and Asynchronous

RPM is part of the provider network affiliated with Ro, a direct-to-patient healthcare company. Providers help patients seeking care through Ro’s platform for their mental health, women’s health, men’s health, fertility, metabolic health, and skincare needs. RPM providers benefit from using technology, tools, and solutions designed to support safe and appropriate care, reduce administrative burden, and help them seamlessly connect with patients throughout their care journeys. RPM’s nationwide network of providers is made up of board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses licensed to treat patients in all 50 states and Washington, DC. The Role: Ro is currently seeking contract, Telemedicine Physicians to join our remote team. We’re looking for Physicians who possess that much-sought balance of competence and compassion, and who don’t cut corners when it comes to patient care. Ideally, you have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are technologically savvy. What You'll Do • Conduct consultations both synchronously and asynchronously based on state telemedicine regulations • Provide care using our custom EMR: evaluating patient records, diagnosing and prescribing medication, and making lifestyle recommendations • Follow best practices and company-specific policies for diagnosis, treatment, and documentation • Answer patient questions related to their treatment and provide high-quality counseling What You’ll Bring to the Team: • Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine • Strong Preference for Obesity Medicine and/or Endocrinology Board Certification • Minimum of 10 hours a week of synchronous availability (set your own schedule one week in advance, with hours of availability between 7:00am - 10:00pm EST) • At least 11 state licenses, including 5 from the following states that have a synchronous requirement: Delaware, Kansas, Minnesota, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming • 2 years of post-residency experience • Telemedicine experience At Ro, we believe that our diverse perspectives are our biggest strengths — and that embracing them will create real change in healthcare.
