Assoc Product Manager

The Assoc Product Manager role is responsible for assisting in the commercialization strategy and managing the lifecycle of Medline Brand products to drive growth. Responsibilities Determine Medline Canada’s market opportunities, addressable market and channels, and targets for increased market penetration and competitive landscape on Medline Industries, LP products already sold in the US, in Canada, or internationally, and for future pipeline opportunities Determine customer’s business and patient care issues and understand the buying process by channel to develop a compelling value proposition for decision makers, approvers, recommenders, influencers, etc. and tie to compelling events like legislation Work closely with cross-functional teams, internal and external to the organization, as part of product lifecycle management and end-to-end product commercialization efforts Work with Clinical Leadership to develop clinically based studies, programs, and solutions Engagement with KOL’s regarding industry best practices, guidelines, and product portfolio breadth and education needs Assist in developing and implementing integrated product launch strategies and marketing campaigns by channel including developing sales literature, marketing publications, presentation materials, and training Develop an integrated demand creation plan and a comprehensive, methodical process for ongoing demand planning and forecasting as well as the corresponding distribution plan with Procurement, Inventory Management, Operations, Logistics, Customer Experience, and Sales Develop marketing communications messaging strategy with Medline Canada Marketing Communications – both internal and external – by channel, and by target audience Translate development of clinically based studies, programs, and solutions into Marketing messages and Sales tools Synthesize industry and internal data to develop market and industry insights and reports Travel with sales force to support efforts to convert customers and grow Medline brand business; provide timely follow-up to sales by answering product questions via email and phone Assess promotional options, develop budget and future impact of promotional decisions (ROI) and advise on appropriate allocation of resources for maximum impact Ongoing Growth Trend and ROI analysis Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or related field 1-2 years of previous experience with product management, marketing, sales, or healthcare related field Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and follow-up skills Excellent presentation skills for large and small groups Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills Action and results oriented demeanor Ability and comfort in creating, developing, and doing new things Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders without direct authority Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Project Ability to travel to Chicago and across Canada as required (10-20%) Marketing research experience Understanding of Brand Marketing and advertising Bilingual – English and French Benefits Collaborative work environment with highly engaged employees Market competitive compensation and benefits plan, including LTD & Insurance DPSP match program Annual Employee Appreciation Week Paid vacation and personal days Lifeworks® Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Resources supporting mental, physical, family and financial well-being Career growth and training programs Open communication with Senior Leaders Tailored incentives for eligible employee groups, such as home office reimbursement and Sylvan Learning Centre credit Employee referral program Education support programs Fitness subsidy Recognition programs Social activities And much more… Company Overview Medline is the largest provider of medical-surgical products and supply chain solutions serving all points of care.
