Business Development Representative

TapMango is seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Representative to fuel their growing mid-market sales motion. In this role, you will be responsible for generating high-quality pipeline by engaging senior decision makers at multi-location brands across various sectors such as restaurants and retail. Responsibilities Own top-of-funnel pipeline creation through strategic outbound prospecting into defined mid-market segments (typically 5–50+ locations) Research target accounts to personalize outreach and demonstrate a strong understanding of each prospect’s business Engage senior stakeholders—including Owners, Founders, CMOs, and Operations leaders—in value-driven conversations Uncover pain points related to customer engagement, retention, and growth through thoughtful discovery Book qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives and ensure strong handoff context Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline tracking, and reporting Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales Leadership to refine messaging and targeting Continuously test, iterate, and improve outbound sequences, messaging, and vertical-specific approaches Skills 1–3+ years of BDR/SDR experience, ideally selling into mid-market or SMB+ accounts Confidence and professionalism speaking with senior decision makers Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on personalization Curious, coachable, and resilient mindset with a desire to grow in sales Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple accounts and outreach efforts Metrics-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Experience selling SaaS, martech, fintech, or restaurant/retail technology is a strong asset Benefits Generous time off plan Hybrid work - we will to assist with making your remote office space as comfortable as possible Continuous virtual coaching and support Comprehensive health benefits Subsidized gym membership Performance recognition Professional development program Growth opportunities (we really mean it!)
