About the position Responsibilities • Assist in posting job openings, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews to ensure a seamless recruitment process. • Prepare and process sensitive personnel documents such as new hire paperwork, promotions, transfers, and terminations, ensuring confidentiality. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including data entry in NEOGOV and SAP. • Support the administration of benefits, including open enrollment, leave management, and answering employee inquiries. • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, applicants, and stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience. • Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as needed, contributing to continuous process improvement. Requirements • Completion of one year (30 semester units or 45 quarter units) of college-level coursework in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; or one year of experience in human resource management related work. • For HR Technician II: Completion of two years (60 semester units or 90 quarter units) of college-level coursework in a related field; or two years of experience in human resource management related work; or one year of experience in the Human Resources Technician I class.
