Automate My YouTube Video Workflow with Make.com & JavaScript
I?m a YouTuber creating software and tech-focused videos, and I need a simple Make automation to streamline my workflow after uploading a new video.
Currently, I manually:
Download my YouTube video and upload it to Google Drive.
Send the video to Opus Clips for short-form content generation.
Generate a transcription of the video.
Notify myself when the process is complete.
I want this entire process automated using Make and JavaScript (if needed) within a $50 budget.
Project Requirements
Trigger: Detect New YouTube Upload
Use Make to detect when I upload a new public or unlisted video to YouTube.
Upload to Google Drive
Download the video and save it in a specific Google Drive folder.
Send to Opus Clips
Automatically submit the video to Opus Clips for short-form content creation.
Retrieve the processed clips and store them in Google Drive.
Generate Transcription
Use a free or low-cost transcription service such as OpenAI Whisper API, Deepgram, or another option available in Make.
Save the transcription as a text file in Google Drive.
Tools to Use

JavaScript if needed for API calls or custom logic.
No external servers, everything should run within Make.
