Collections Specialist

Job Title: Collections Specialist || Hybrid || Urgent Hiring*** Location: Johnston, IA 50131 (In-office attendance requirement is 8x/month... Hours: 7A ? 4:30P with flexibility Start: 3/25/2024 Pay: $21 ? $22 Job Responsibilities: ? Identify and investigate payment arrears in the portfolio and code debtor appropriately in order to determine following collection process steps ? Communicate with debtors by telephone and in writing ? Manage debtors and arrears process ? Identify quality adjustment requests, complete the documentation package, and utilize company underwriting guidelines to approve or reject the request ? Continue all necessary actions to collect payments and/or terminate accounts ? Record debtor and arrears history in order to ensure a complete file as a sound basis for decision making during collection, recovery. Job Qualification: ? 1-3 years of collections, customer service, and/or sales experience ? Experience & knowledge in the leasing & finance sector is a plus ? Customer focused ? A team player with excellent interpersonal skills ? Quality driven and results oriented ? Able to work in a very fast-paced environment and adapt to situations.
