Open Until FilledBandera High School is seeking a Computer Science and Mathematics Teacher for the 2024-25 school year.

Bandera ISD operates on a 4-Day instructional week (Mon.-Thurs.) for the 2024-25 school year. Athletic/Extra-curricular events will be held as required on all weekdays
Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities: Position is responsible for teaching High School level Computer Science and Mathematics courses. Grades: 9th - 12th

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
Texas Teaching License and appropriate endorsements for the grade levels and subjects taught

Team planning with colleagues to ensure high quality instruction and assessment
Develop, modify and prepare curricula to ensure high quality instruction based upon student abilities and skill levels
Provide classroom instruction to whole groups, small groups, and individuals
Demonstrate the effective use of technology to enhance instruction and support student interest and growth
Design assessment tasks that allow students to demonstrate understanding in a variety of ways.
Collect and analyze student data to drive instruction
Collaborate with students, parents, and other members of staff, and provide meaningful feedback
Communicate necessary information and student progress regularly to students, colleagues, and parents
Work cohesively with the campus staff in a fast-paced atmosphere
Work cooperatively with Special Education teachers to modify curricula, and instruct and assess Special Education students in the regular classroom
Participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
Participate in staff development activities and improve job-related skills
