Medical Office Receptionist
About the position
The position involves meeting the needs of staff and resident children at the Boys Ranch campus by maintaining medical records, scheduling appointments for staff and residents to be seen by a campus health professional, and verifying medical insurance before appointments. The role is responsible for providing comprehensive support for the Boys Ranch Clinic, which includes assisting in data management, documentation, and correspondence. Additionally, the position requires assisting with data entry, transporting residents to on and off-campus appointments, and the pickup and delivery of prescriptions, medications, labs, and x-ray films as assigned by the Medical Operations Manager. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining correct insurance information in Electronic Health Records Systems and for maintaining Medicaid applications.
Responsibilities
? Maintain medical records for staff and resident children.

? Schedule appointments for staff and residents with health professionals.

? Verify medical insurance before appointments.

? Provide support for Boys Ranch Clinic including data management and documentation.

Requirements
? High school diploma or GED equivalency required.

? Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

? Proficiency in general office equipment operation required.

? Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
,
? Must be available for travel as needed.
,
? Must possess a valid Texas driver?s license.
,
? Must be at least 21 years of age.
